First off, yes, that is a real "Fila dog" as my avatar pic. Fila Brasileiro is the proper name. They may not be pretty or refined. They aren't known for being a sophisticated man's dog. Ok, and they slobber a lot...........but, they are as loyal as any dog you can hope.

I have heard you can gain some insight about a person by looking at their dog. With that said......I don't slobber but I will confess to not being sophisticated. But I do hope to be the kind of man my dog thinks I am. I read that quote one time and found it to hold a lot of truth. For me, being a gentleman means being a good father and husband and then admitting that you're going to fail at doing so and then also committing to never stop trying. We're human. We're going to fail. But we're going to keep trying. Simple.

I'm an educated country boy who feels just as comfortable writing prescriptions for his patients as he is riding his 4-wheeler through the cow pasture.

I enjoy perusing the 'mint because there is truly diverse group of other people who also enjoy doing the same and as a result, post an equally diverse array of things that always keep me interested.
