Signature Droid Case ™
The Signature Droid Case is 1/3 of the Signature Collection, a handmade case of upcycled black leather, upcycled metal backing, upcycled sail cloth and stainless steel cable. It is designed to protect your phone, to protect you from your phone's electromagnetic radiation, as well as to enable you to have 1 handed access to your phone. By keeping the Droid Case in your back jean pocket, and removing the phone with one hand, the case is designed to catch on the lip seam of your back pocket, giving you 1-handed access to your phone, as your Droid Case stays in your pocket.
Men need to have their mobile computing devices with them at all times, and since carrying them in your hand is cumbersome, in a man-bag is unthinkable and in your front pocket zaps your nads with radiation, a back pocket case, fortified with its own metal backing (Farraday cage) is best. The Droid Case will not work with iPhones or with the androgynous/flimsy fabric adorning hipsters - more on usage here.
Each Droid Case features the EVR1 logo (a circle flanked by two colons), representing man's relationship to time, excellence and presence (more here on Signature philosophy and logo). Beneath the EVR1 logo is a removable & updatable Micro SDHC card that contains humanity's greatest hits, aka the EVR1 Canon, including the entire corpus of Wikipedia, the US Army Survival Guide, the UN's Declaration of Human Rights, the CIA World Factbook, the Eastern and Western literary canons, the world's sacred texts, a robust selection of how-to manuals (languages, math, farming, construction, bee keeping, hunting, fishing, etc.) and licensed essays from leading physicists, philosophers, psychologists and spiritual leaders.
The Droid Case is 6" x 3.8" and holds Android smartphones measuring 5-5.5" long by 2.75-3.25" wide, such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Motorola Photon Q and Razr Maxx, (as of 10/2012, this means all Android phones, save the Samsung Note). As your smartphones changes, the leather Signature Droid Case does as well, molding to the form of each new Droid. This is one case for all your current and future mobile computers.
Signature Droid Case Features:
4 pieces of black upcycled/scrap leather, a piece of upcycled silver sail cloth, a piece of upcycled metal, all secured by stainless steel cable and 85 lb. test nylon microcord.
EVR1 Canon - a broad selection of humanity's greatest hits, written upon an 8GB Micro SDHC card. Each card is secured underneath the logo, which can be removed by peeling the back layer of leather and removing the EVR1 Canon with needlenose pliers. All EVR1 customers have online access to the EVR1 Canon for reading, downloading, updating, etc.
The EVR1 Canon seal - protects the Micro SDHC card is made from material designed to withstand 950 PSI, 8,000 volts and temperatures up to 500F and electromagnetic radiation. Each Signature Droid Case includes 5 reseal kits, for downloading, updating, customize and securing the EVR1 Canon.
EVR1 Community - exclusive online access to EVR1 community of adventurers/mystics from around the world, who share links, stories and wisdom on the nature of the human experience
Data
The EVR1 Canon contains humanity's greatest hits, the culmination of the 200,000 year-old human story, an interconnected weave of spirit and matter, art and science, mystery and certainty, faith and reason.
The works in this Canon are humanity's best, representing a library worth several thousand dollars. If you skimmed the cream off the top of the internet, you would be left with the few GB that comprise the EVR1 Canon.
Use
It is designed for daily wear so that you can see, touch and meditate upon the Signature Droid Case everyday.
Accessing the Wisdom
As a Signature Droid Case owner, you can access this wisdom in two ways:
The EVR1 customers-only Wisdom Locker. The Wisdom Locker will contain the full text versions of each of these titles, allowing you the ability to access the data online, as well as download it to other devices for storage, printing, etc.
By removing the EVR1 Canon to retrieve the data on the Micro SDHC memory card. Simply pull out the EVR1 Canon with needlenose pliers, cut the seal with a razor blade, remove the Micro SDHC Card and place into an Android phone or a PC or Mac, via a USB/micro SDHC converter.
