Classic music teacher! If I was a Middle School music teacher I would do the same thing. They aren't typically very good but parents expect that the teacher will get them sounding good by the concert...that is a lot of pressure for some!!! :-)
I think he wasn't mad. He ask the student if he need what day it was, so he may had a new one for his birthday or something. The student seemed happy about it after he explained. I see no anger in this. Looked like this was planned to me. Although, the audio isn't the best, so I could be wrong.
