Also very nice. Lest you think this is made up, the DNC has issued an apology for using the Russian naval vessels, I wonder if an apology for this will be forthcoming.

Hardly seems like news to me. Graphical screw-ups are a pretty common thing regardless of who makes them. There aren't even any visible markings.

That being said, I can understand the frustration with the more plainly visible Russian ships.

Graphical screw-up? There was absolutely nothing American shown on the screen at that moment. I have trouble calling that a "screw-up" or even "unintentional".

Why would someone intentionally populate the video with non-American craft?

That's a darn good question. Maybe the Russian stuff looks bigger and badder? With our current 262 vessel fleet maybe they couldn't find a photo with three big ships in a row? We know the Turks are the only precision team to use seven aircraft in their team so maybe the entire thing was done just for the visual. The DNC used their standard sub-standard personnel to piece together the shot so my vote would go for "typically inept".

At least they were American-made. Maybe the DNC was trying to emphasize President Obama's "Lead from Behind" strategy - we give you the guns, you do the fighting so we can feel superior. Too bad we won't export the F-22 to even our closest allies, but then again I don't know if allied pilots want to suffer from hypoxia... Typical incompetence.

Well, that is true. My thinking was that as soon as we sold them to another country they weren't American any more. I'll buy "American made".
