It is so Important that people realize what is being said here and not just stereotype these civilians with what the media often shows. This is the case for any extremist Muslim, Christian, Democrat, Republican, Liberal, etc... I hate when people of my specific religion or political belief do something stupid and hope that my fellow citizens are not dumb enough to assume that I am the same as them.

Yeah, I think it is important to realize it isn't EVERYONE and we shouldn't "turn that sand to glass"... Although justice will be served and whoever did this should and will pay. There were also huge crowds rioting when the ambassador was killed... it wasn't a lone gunman type scenario.

I wish we had a way to get this out to more people. It is important for people to see that terrorists are to Islam like the Westboro Church is to Christianity. The exceptions are not the rule.

Also, Gentlemint needs a sticky function that allows this link to stay on the front page.

Great points on how we need to stop sticking everybody into stereotyped holes. That the actions of the few do not define the ideology of the greater body of our species.

This was their celebration of 9/11, not a reaction to the film
