this book caused me to get more than a few mean and ill spirited remarks from some women at my church. good book though, extremely good book

Went through Piper's study of this at my church. Both the men and the women did it in small groups. Powerful stuff! Piper is excellent in basing out what Biblical Manhood and Womanhood looks like. Kudos to the Gentlemint for allowing these kinds of posts.
