Pin it! It is generally pretty easy to find a rock on the ground that will produce a spark. What is more difficult is finding a pyrophoric companion piece in nature. Alas, a stainless steel pocket knife will not do the job. Currently looking to integrate a carbon steel piece into my EDC. This piece integrates a fire steel, awl, and blanket pin into one unit.
