I visited Shanghai in this year, and I show ppl pictures like this. It really does not do it justice. I am from a very small town in South Jersey, lots of farms, and people are literally afraid to travel to a place like China. It is like they think if you go there you will be immediately locked up, killed, or crash on the way over! People, please! get out and see something great, something over the top, something that is unattainable in the US. Shanghai is a great place to visit, there are plenty of cultural differences to navigate thru, but navigate away. I promise you will love every minute of it if you are the least bit adventurous.
