That question is easy to answer. Americans have switched to an entitlement mind set. So they vote in presidents, like Obama, that promise entitlements. Now we're Americants and the entitlement society thinks the government has an endless supply of money. They are too stupid or ignorant or naive to understand the Americant public pays for all this garbage.

Success has been reduced to an excuse for the government to target you for more money. This puts the Americant in line with the rest of the entitlement crowd waiting for a handout. It's a viscous cycle and gaining more traction by the hour.

It's impossible to sustain. Eventually the whole house of cards will implode like the housing market, the .com bubble, and the stock market. Only this will be worse. People will either rally around a socialist promising "security" in rxchange for out freedom or it will spark a revolution wherein the Americans take back our country and replenish the blood debt owed to our Freedom.

We've squandered that freedom and are paying the price.
