Pin it! This was uncalled for. I will give them that the dog was spared an extra year, but it seems to me that when this was becoming a fever pitch that they had to put the poor dog down. Also, they (being the council) are never quoted or have said to explained why the dog was "unpredictable" or dangerous other than being a pit bull.
