I am so done spending $135 for cable service and STILL having nothing worth viewing at most given times! Most of what we end up watching is network TV anyway so why not just get it free? I will miss a few channels but, let's face it, History, Discovery and TLC aren't what they once were now that we get to see mostly pawn shops, auto auctions and swamps.

So when the HTGuys discussed this product on their podcast I thought I'd give it a try. Free TV, Netflix and a Tivo (maybe even MLBTV) together are a whole bunch cheaper than TWC or Uverse. The Guys can now pull in stations from San Diego, about a hundred miles away! Should be no problem for me, being only 32 miles from Mt Wilson to receive everything but just out of range of the indoor antennas I've purchased (must be the mountains near Pasadena causing the trouble). It is ordered and on the way, more info to follow!

Update: With cable internet service and TiVo I am saving almost a hundred dollars a month. Who knew that the local channels had fun secondary channels? One is similar to Food Network and another runs old TV shows, as do 56-1 and 56-3. 56-3 is the ME network, a lot like the original TV Land. Those old shows hold up much better than what passes for a sitcom nowadays.
