That's a ten dollar Mora. One of the best value for money knives for cutting things. Isn't the picture originally from somewhere on Jack Mountain Bushcraft's page?
Spyderco hasn't cornered the market on high quality knives. There are a lot great knife makers out there, and there's a lot of cheap crap. You get what you pay for!
It cost ten dollars because its not a "well known" name. I have used my mora knife which was purchased for ten dollars to cut down 4 inch round trees and break through ice and have even cut metal bicycle brake lines with it.Im a fan of spyderco, but I would never trust my life to one. A mora however I would and would never question its ability. I challenge you to buy one and see if it doesnt out perform a spyderco.

If it cost $10 that's probably why it's broken like that. You buy cheap equipment you get what you pay for.

The picture was more of a joke. Of course there are other great knife makers other then Spyderco, but I am biased due to my infatuation.
