I can't begin to describe how awesome this show was and how incredibly FOX effed it up before it even had a chance.

It's hard to follow the series if you watch it out of order- which is of course how FOX aired it.

I've gone through those 16 episodes about 6 times now, and I'm thinking about watching it again. I absolutely love this show. Joss Wheton is my hero.

Don't forget the movie Serenity. Not as good as the show, with a few Whedon twists I could have done without, but still an important part of the Firefly mythos.
