You heard me, that's a 0.950 caliber meaning that it fires a bullet that it is almost an inch in diameter. This would normally classify them as Destructive Devices under the 1934 National Firearms Act. However, SSK sought and received a “Sporting Use Exception” to de-regulate the rifles.
