Kinda shocked with some of the top ten. So many other books that are way better. I guess some of these have actually helped get people into reading, that maybe worth it.

I'm pretty sure the twilight books were read by just a few girls...thousands of times. That explains the 43 million.

I'll say this for the Harry Potter series... It certainly got a lot of kids interested in reading. For that alone, I'll give the series an A+.

Interesting but we need the raw data to verify. Seems to be intentionally biased to favor the Bible. For example, there are more than 1.6 billion people of Muslim faith. I find it hard to believe the Quran would not make this list. Also, Twilight and Harry Potter are total numbers for a series of books, not a single publication so that seems to skew it a little. Other than that, it's a cool way to show the top books.

Many muslims are not literate, in many muslim countries the girls are not allowed an education.
