Google made over $29.3 billion in the year 2010, and 97 percent of that came from advertising. Google receives approximately one billion visitors per month, which translates to one out of every seven people on the planet. Visitors to Google's websites spend 200 billion minutes on these sites. Google is also a huge consumer of electrical power, using over 260 million watts per year.
