Young people today have no idea how much impact he had as one of the first environmentalists. He is, without question, the reason I despise any type of littering.

And he isn't even native American, he's Italian. Took the name "Iron Eye Cody" to get acting jobs.
yeah, i thought that would be obvious from this real name. his parents were sicillian immigrants.
i not real sure he was an environmentalist as much as he was an actor hired by environmentalists.
