You mean a mobile hotel room that seats eight people for a road-trip? Yes, it is okay!
One of my favorite cars I've ever owned was a 1997 GMC Safari van. I am looking for another now, with AWD for some more off-road camping.
I prefer driving my roadster to the van, but you can't beat the practicability; they are the Leatherman of vehicles.
