Whoa Gents! Sometimes style means taking a risk. I did order it from the Etsy seller in India. It took about 2-3 weeks to get here, but the seller kept me up to date on everything. When it arrived it did have a smell, but I credit that to the REAL leather tanning process. It wore off after a few weeks. Every time I take this bag out I get compliments.
Also to iamthedonald you "WOman" statement was uncalled for. May we say "Come forth good sir!"
BeerTool - Thanks for the update. Nice to know someone has gone before and achieved success. At $85, this bag is a steal compared to others I have been considering. I will definitely give this product further consideration.
I do find it ironic that the majority of all leather goods in the world come from the land of sacred cows. OK to tan 'em as long as you don't eat 'em, I guess.
Whatever the hide, it's awesome. I've been looking for a good bag (that's not black) for years and my search ended the day this one showed up. Go for it
I forgot to add, if anyone wants to see a picture of the bag in it's native setting (aka my house) let me know and I'll email some pics or post them here so you can get an idea of what it really looks like in the wild.

We have this bag from the Etsy seller. 100% awesome and if I lost mine I would reorder it in a heartbeat. Great price for a handmade bag like this.

thanks, beertool.
razorback, the bags are made of less-than-sacred camel hide.
