At my age and body condition (1 back surgery, many scars), couch surfing, sleeping in hammocks or in a hostel just isn't in the cards. I'm at a position in life where I can afford a decent hotel room and an upgrade on the airlines. As a former co-worker once said, and I've taken this to heart, "There are those who travel...and there are those who travel well." I intend to travel well.
