I live in the silly-con valley and I'm finally moving out of state this year.

If you want to understand the valley and the bay area for that matter, you need to understand that CA has always been a microcosm for the whole country.

The SV and the BA are what happens when a bunch of intelligent, yet dumb people, all move to an area and ruin it. They ruin it by voting without common sense, thinking they know better how to run everyone's lives for them, that what they think it automatically "smarter", and by, ironically, destroying an existing culture through the sudden demographic shift that is unsustainable.

Fuck the SV and fuck CA, they all deserve each other. Too bad when the pensions don't get paid, the "high speed trains" don't get built, and the chickens come home to roost they'll just most on over to Austin, or Denver, or the next place to ruin.
