I have facial hair because I'm too lazy to shave. But when I do, it's with a single edge razor, a badger hair brush, pre-shave oil and after shave balm. It is a manly routine.
I have a beard but keep it trimmed pretty close. I feel it helps make the size of my giant head less noticeable. My hair, however, is well past my shoulders. Also helps offset the melon.
