Thoughts? I can see both sides of this equation, though tend to lean in favor of the restaurant owners. There are plenty of other places that families can eat. Having a few places that are a respite from children is not a bad thing in my book.

Kids can be like satan's spawn at times, but only if they are allowed to act that way, but especially at those young ages. Mine have their moments even though I work very hard to raise them to act like young adults not small children.
But I support the right of a business owner to refuse service to anyone they wish; just be open and consistent about it. If the free market can't support it, it won't last. A parent should be keyed in enough to their kids behavior to know when to pass on nicer restaurants. It's sad that this isn't the case often enough to be a problem.
