No politics in this... just Jordan Peterson laying out the brutal truth. Ideas that all men should consider.

His 12 Rules book. He only has two. His first is "Maps of Meaning". This, I believe, is the book version of his lectures which are also in YouTube.
The 12 Rules book just came out. I don't know that there is a specific video version of just that book, but I know he discusses some of these rules in various videos. I also think you can see what the actual rules are on Instagram, as I've seen people posting pictures.
I haven't dabbled yet in his Maps of Meaning material, but it's on my short list when I get time.

One more comment. I prefer to use this channel:

Sometimes his ideas are too dense for me to digest more than a few minutes at a time. And I've also used a few of these for my boys. Their short attention span fits this format pretty well.

Interesting take on Dr. Peterson from The Federalist.

That was good. I appreciate you sharing. I haven't gotten into his religious discussions much at all, though I'd like to because I really enjoy the ideas of non-traditional religious thinkers.
I couldn't figure out if the Joel Osteen comment was a compliment or insult, but I figured it had to be one or the other. MY fascination with JBP comes mostly from the following:
1. He gives eloquent words to ideas I've long kicked around in my head.
2. He seems to be as absolutely honest AND careful with his speech as I've ever heard. It's not one or the other, it's the combination that I value.
3. He has testicular fortitude.
After reading that article, I'm even more interested in the content, because I am learning that the value isn't in the destination, the value is in making the journey. So as the article says, I may not dock in his intellectual harbor long, but it is most important that I make the trip at all.

I thought it was an interesting assessment. Can still agree with him and like him but nice to know where he's coming from.
