I kind of enjoy sneezing. It makes things feel better.

On a side note, my family no longer says "bless you" after sneezes since that dates back to medieval days when they thought an evil spirit was leaving the body. Since that's weirdly superstitious and completely unscientific, we changed our sneeze-greeting to "Good one."

Ah! I think I'd rather say 'good one!', but I like the idea of an evil spirit being shout out of my nostrils too. I guess there are no losers, right?

"Gesundheit" is another common thing people say when someone sneezes. It is German for "health" and when used after a sneeze it is wishing that person good health.

I love a good sneeze. A good sneeze can pop my upper back and it feels good. Interestingly, when my back doesn't pop it's a sign I'm too compressed and I'm usually close to some back problem. I didn't notice this phenomenon until after I started lifting regularly, but still... it's fun.

And I believe the proper response to a sneeze is, "Shazaaam!"

Shazaaam! Even better, it's a word that you can say WHILE you're sneezing too.

I'll be trying out "Shazaaam" next time someone sneezes.

I actually tried sneezing it this morning in the shower. I think the mouth naturally makes more of an "oooh" sound than an "ahh" sound while sneezing. It came out like "Shazooooooom!".

So this is what I patterned on...but greater minds could probably elaborate.

Not sure why it amuses me so much.
