Technology wise, it looks cool. The Apple iPhone X that is. The 8? Meh. Still not worth the money. You're still buying the name/cool factor.
I'm still using an SE for personal use and have a 6 for work. When I can no longer update the iOS or when my apps stop working I'll think about updating to a 7.

A thousand dollar phone... what an illusion!
If I bought one, surely the moment after I would say to myself, "I've made a huge mistake." I would need something to help me forget now.
Either way, $1,000 for a phone? Come On!
