Big Star is one of the best bands that never reached the fame they deserve. If you have not already seen it, there is a great documentary on their story.

Yes, that is good. I would not have known the band except for my curiosity of the Replacements song Alex Chiton and the Rykodisc reissues in the early 90's. I had a dream once where I met Alex Chiton in a guitar shop and he was really nice to me ;-)
