Makes you wonder how much of our interactions are shaped by senses that we aren't aware of. Different but kind of the same, there was a study on birds a few years back where the alpha males had more blue on their wings. The less dominant birds got a makeover with blue Sharpies. After that the female birds reacted to those low testosterone birds as if they were alpha males and their testosterone went up to alpha levels.
