My Dad and I watched a handyman install a retractable ladder into his attic in the garage. Took him 30 minutes. Didn't flinch picking up the skilsaw and cutting things to proper length and angles. That ladder was sturdy and fit like a glove.
Both my Dad and I just shook our heads. The guy was the exception to the "measure twice, cut once" rule.

I'm always amazed at guys who can pick up a skilsaw and hack a 45 degree angle...free hand.

Every time I start to feel slightly confident in my woodworking abilities I see something like this and realize that I have a long ways to go.
