I agree totally. I think its a shame they want to make it a law but undying scrutiny for garbage chains putting these up when they don't have a clue as to what an actual barber does is an atrocity!
Also from the article this is so dam true: "You know, if you drive down the street and you want to get yourself a hamburger [and] you want McDonalds, you look for the golden arches," he says. "You don't go to Burger King if you're looking for a McDonalds."

I agree, a tradition that old and with that much history deserves protecting. Sad a law has to be made for it to happen, though.
