So it's a few years old, but the president of Belarus, (pictured above) made it illegal to applaud in public, for some asinine reason, and was awarded Harvard's Ig Noble Peace Prize. A one-armed man, who was part of a public clapping protest of the law, was arrested for this activity. Nothing is mentioned regarding how this "criminal mastermind" pulled it off.

I just feel like we move one step closer every day towards a total world dystopia.

This didn't really bother me (the stupidity of a law is merely a reflection of its creator and after all, it IS Eastern Europe) as much as amuse me that a one armed man was arrested for.....clapping....and I applaud him.

I don't feel as though the world is approaching dystopia. At least I'm not being told by leaders in Washington that we have to "pass the bill so we can see what is in it." Or that terrorism is work place violence. That was the stuff that I couldn't handle. We survived that...we will survive this as well.
