Speaking of prefab houses, this is a good article about the ones that Frank Lloyd Wright designed.

Accounting for inflation, one could have a FLW designed home today for $51,853.18. Some assembly required of course. I wonder what the kit to purchase would cost today, considering material price changes?
This would be fantastic if someone were able to offer them at a competitive price. I would certainly live in one. I wonder what even just the window cost for 33 windows would be today?

This amazing (albeit larger) prefab home of his came on the market for $795,000.00 in 2014. The lines and details in it are so pleasing to my eye and are certainly timeless in design.
