I hate seeing things like this. Where I live, we are battling a group wanting to put hog farms near the banks of the Buffalo River. It is not only the greatest natural resource in Arkansas, it is also the first National River to be designated in the United States. It is horrifying to think of the possible pollutants that could go into such a treasured resource.
Here in California, where you will find the majority of America's tree hugger population, we have a tendency to put all of our trash dumps right next to our rivers. I have no idea why.
