At first I couldn't tell if this was real or not, but I checked the Guinness World Records site and it appears legit. What struck me about this video was all the time and effort these guys put into doing such a ridiculous thing. I will say that at the end of the video they spend a chunk of time hyping a charity that they are into, but still, seems like they could do something a little more powerful than shooting a basketball from the top of a dam with their time.
