So I couldn't access the pictures in a way that satisfied me (they displayed too small) possibly operator error, so I searched "cooling towers abandoned" and that turned up some awesome pictures.
I was not, prior to this post, aware of cooling towers but I have a love for very large or abandoned spaces and bonus points for both. It's likely not an uncommon fascination and it's good I don't have lots of money because I'd try and buy one and probably try to do something stupid with it. I'm sure there is an explanation for why I am (and I'm sure many others are) drawn to such imagery, I just don't know what it might be. A cursory glance tells me there is such a thing as "ruin porn" but I've learned enough about the Internet not to jump down that rabbit hole.
