Wow, this is truly terrible. I thought it was an Onion piece based on the title, but it's not. She did this thousands of times, including when somebody called in to report an armed robbery.
Makes me wonder if someone like this might collaborate with a criminal to aid in the execution of a crime. May that she be aware of karma as it inevitably catches up with her.
