I love to cook but admittedly, the majority of my knowledge lies in smoking and grilling. Ask me to prepare side dishes and you will get a blank stare. So I have been considering taking some courses to learn the basics - tools, methods, recipes, etc. - to take my game up a notch or two.

This online "school" gets great reviews. Cost is $300 up-front and then $5/month after that. This gives you access to over 1500 instructional videos and other content. You can cancel at any time. Thinking about giving it a shot. Mainly because I like the idea of having all of the information in one place.

Has anyone else used any online courses for cooking? Wondering if it is worth the investment or if i should just search YouTube and the rest of the interwebs for free.
