It sounds like they are trying too hard to be like they were in the early years. But you just can't fake that.

Yeah. Sounds like a band that's trying to be like Metallica, and not quite succeeding.
Love it! Staying true to their style and sound through the years. That's what Metallica fans want. I will own this album when it comes out.
Hey, true Metallica fans are ok by me. I personally wish they could get back to some Ride the Lightning era song constructs and melodies but that is asking a LOT.
