Interesting website! I was pleasantly surprised to find Kansas was #16. Also: New Hampshire??

    Interesting numbers there...

Oregon and Washington ranked higher in gun freedoms than Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana!!

Civil Asset Forfeiture shows Oregon ranked #1! Texas ranked #35... (#1 being the best for freedoms)

And shows Texas ranked dead last in state level regulations and mandates in the health insurance market?? Wow, surprised by that one.

Eminent domain reform and land-use regulations falls with all the Red states in the top half and the Blue states in the bottom half... predictable I guess..!

And Lastly I was surprised how low, #49 Texas was ranked in overall personal freedoms...

My interpretation is that Texas isn't quite the bastion of personal liberty that some make it out to be and that the northwest isn't as awful as others say too... Seems that Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Maine and the old standards are holding strong.
