Why am I not surprised? I would think there would be a formal sanction and discipline procedure for violation of sportsmanlike conduct. Some people broadcast exactly what they are when all the world's a stage.
If the roles were reversed and an athlete refused to shake hands with a Muslim, can you imagine the outcry from the media?
Liked for awareness being brought to such atrocious behavior. This assholery needs the light of day shined on it.
