Yeah, I've seen this floating around too. I've not tried it, but it would be a fun experiment. I like the idea of using scrap number with nails separating the pieces for airflow... that's smart. You could use sticks too, probably.

I really liked the idea of using the scrap wood too. I've usually got plenty of odds and ends floating around in my garage
