And apparently we don't know how to use it.

Yes, our education system is mediocre. But, the problem here is not that our kids aren't smart enough, Michio. It's that current immigration policies facilitate large flows of labor at wages that are too low to induce sizable increases in the domestic workforce, especially in the STEM fields. Wages have been flat for a very long time and domestically the demand isn't there.

74% of those with bachelor's degrees in the STEM fields aren't even employed in STEM occupations according to the US Census. And how many more stories do we have to hear about where American STEM workers are forced to train their H-1B replacements (most notably: H-P, Cisco, American Express, Proctor and Gamble, T-Mobile, Microsoft, and Disney)?

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of American citizens being regarded and treated as the second-class citizens and having to listen to this claptrap, especially when it's the politicians and corporations shooting our in kids in the feet. Shall we just get out of the way and let the rest of the world run things, eh, Michio?

Border sovereignty IS a huge problem, and I think self-serving, near sighted politicians are the cause of most of our societal problems. Not to get off topic, but you're right. These are things I need to hear our national leadership saying though, dammit!
