As a die-hard Firefly fan from the beginning, I would love to see this show make a come back, but the longer it's off the air, the less likely it seems possible.
the good thing is unlike star Trek these guys are civilians so you could come back with a VERY middle age Mal and s few old timers having settled down, raised families become (gasp) citizens getting severely screwed by the powers that be(whoops that's Buffy)and going on a last few runs to make it back to earth or some such
