Some of those photos are rather gripping. It is strange to see the spaces once made for entertainment and enjoyment decaying and devoid of people, especially considering the loss and panic experienced there before the ship listed over. The little touches of order brought by the salvagers, a coffee cup here or a placed chair there brought some humanity back to the bleakness.
I enjoyed this Nat Geo documentary on the salvage operation. The engineering work and problem solving was impressive in its scope and ingenuity.
