The best quote I have ever heard regarding knife fighting is, "There are no winners in a knife fight". Google images (at your own risk) of wounds from knife fights. Not pretty, and sometimes a lifetime debilitation.
Also the reason why though I carry a knife, I also carry a .45. :)
I'm not knocking the training though. "The more you know" and all that.
