My very first concert was Rush during the Permanent Waves tour in 1981 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. I was only 14 years old. One of my fondest memories. I wore the t-shirt to school the next day and some of the kids were asking me who Rush was, which amazed and confused me as I had been listening to them for several years (my first Rush album was 2112 and I was hooked therefafter). But the girls thought it was cool that I got to go to a rock concert in Philly without parental escort, so I had that going for me.
