During summer break one summer, we'd ride up to the elementary school and connect the chain from the flagpole to the back of the banana seat. We'd back away from the pole till it lifted our back tired and then race at the pole. After we passed it, the back end of the bike would be lifted off the ground and we'd "fly" for about .08756 milliseconds. It was a blast.
The janitors figured it out and pull the chain in a second story window so we made ramps and jumped the sandpit (really a small hole) in the middle of the playground.
