Thing is, nobody bought into his reasoning as to why he raised the drug, especially for a condition so specialized (in comparison to ones like Diabetes or MS). Once reading about his background before Turing Pharmaceuticals, it wasn't hard to know that his days were numbered with the authorities. His arrest had nothing to do with raising the drug price, but I personally believe he would have illegally allocated those profits to pay off debts he owed.
