Here's one that I would add: Cheese dip was invented in Arkansas. It was first served in 1935 at a restaurant in Hot Springs called Little Mexico. This predates Rotel by at least 10 years. The restaurant is still there but is now called Mexico Chiquito.

Where is it located in Hot Springs? I'm only seeing Little Rock locations. Please advise.

Yikes! They must have closed the Hot Springs location. Sorry about that. But Little Rock is only 30 minutes from there if you really want to try it.
