I am very confused by this. Apparently George Clooney is a producer. Nothing against an all-ladies cast, but this just feels weird. I love the Ocean's franchise, but I just can't wrap my mind around this. Thoughts?

I know! Let's remake all the male-centric movies from the past with female leads because, you know, sexism, lack of originality, in it for a quick buck, jumping on the band wagon...

I only ask: Why? Is there a point? Why not remake "Lawrence of Arabia" or "Ben-Hur" with an all female cast? Those movies won lots of awards.

I also have absolutely no problem with an all-ladies cast. However, this is absolutely ridiculous. It seems that all feminism really is, is masculinism. Women are trying to say "See? we can do everything men can do. We want to be men". I'm sure I'm hitting a huge nerve here, but it's the truth and someone needs to say it. Why can't women embrace their feminine selves and be women? Let men be men. Why do they have to be men? I really don't get it. How about they come up with a really good, compelling story with an all-ladies cast and not hijack one that has already been done by all-guys?

I am fine with another heist movie, but no remakes. All hollywood is these days is books, remakes, sequels, or reboots.
    VERY BLASE.

Yeah, that's probably the biggest issue for me. I really don't care much about the gender thing, it's probably the fact that it's a reboot of a reboot.
